We are actively seeking an experienced Program Manager who will be responsible for the supervision and oversight of our Direct Support Professionals and our Regional Programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Direct Support Professionals to ensure compliance with work objectives. Includes participating in the interview, hire, and performance review process.
  • Oversees daily operational aspects of Group Home.
  • Arrange and participate in Family Orientation and review and sign required paperwork within the first 24 hours.
  • Provide Case Management.
  • Provide onsite family psycho-educational activities consistent with the comprehensive treatment and discharge plan (monthly).
  • Attend treatment team meetings (monthly).
  • Provide assistance with ADL skills.
  • Addresses performance issues through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action where appropriate.
  • Monitors staffing schedules and required staff trainings.
  • Monitors fiscal, medical, personal and ISP documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitors and schedules house and vehicle maintenance.
  • Builds a support network between the individuals and community members.
  • Submits monthly written reports to the appropriate individuals outlining operational status, progress, and concerns.
  • May perform the duties of Direct Support Professionals as necessary, in accordance with current staffing needs.
  • Complies with all internal and state regulations and participates in all inspections and investigations.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 3-5 years’ experience with IDD youth and/or at risk youth; OR
    • Unlicensed Master’s Degree with 1 year experience with IDD youth and/or at risk youth
  • Knowledge and understanding of state/local regulations.
  • Understanding and commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilities.
  • Proven leadership and professionalism when assisting internal and external customers.
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
  • Valid Driver's License

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent lifting, stretching, and other physical exertion during positioning of consumer or equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (average weight of an empty wheelchair).
  • May occasionally assist with wheelchair transfer or non-ambulatory participants.
  • Work will take place in the community and in the homes.
